Wrexham know they are just two wins away from the chance at winning the EFL Trophy for the first time since 2005.
Peterborough United await the winners of Wrexham v Bolton in the semi final of the trophy and Phil Parkinson will be keen to field a side strong enough to progress at the Racecourse Ground.
Bolton have an injury crisis ahead of the Wrexham clash whilst Parkinson will have to make decisions all over the pitch as to who he chooses to give minutes to amid the ongoing battle for League One promotion.
Defender Max Cleworth started the 4-1 quarter final win over Port Vale and is currently enjoying a fine season at both ends of the pitch – a weapon Parkinson could use in the upcoming tie.

Max Cleworth reveals secret behind his goal scoring success at Wrexham this season
Speaking to Men in Blazers, Wrexham defender Cleworth has revealed the insight as to why he believes he has managed to become such an attacking threat for the Red Dragons this season, crediting a change from manager Parkinson.
Cleworth stated: “I think I’ve been given more responsibility from set pieces, like attacking the ball and being given a bit more of a free role. Maybe not blocking players and attack the ball more and a bit of luck.”
The 22-year-old defender has scored seven already this season in all competitions and is looking to add more to his tally.
Cleworth explained: “I’m just trying to be in the right areas a bit more, being in the width of the goal. I certainly didn’t see myself scoring seven at the start of the season but I’ll take it and hope there’s a few more yet.”
Cleworth believes Wrexham can achieve promotion from League One
Cleworth believes that the quality added to Wrexham’s squad in the transfer window and the ‘togetherness’ of the players will be enough to drag them to promotion into the Championship.
Cleworth claimed: “The group of players we have we certainly believe that we can get promoted and be right up there.”

Having been named Wrexham’s young player of the year for two consecutive seasons, Cleworth has once again been outstanding in his 29 appearances for the Red Dragons this season.
His tenacious defending is complimented with a calmness and composure on the ball, with his added attacking threat this season, Max Cleworth is rapidly becoming a player that Parkinson can rely on in the promotion race.
