Wrexham beat Reading 2-0 on Tuesday night, securing a passage to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup – and a clash with Cardiff City.
Wrexham have come up with a couple of strong results over the past week.
Norwich City were beaten 3-2 at Carrow Road in the Championship, before Wrexham saw off Reading in the Carabao Cup.
Wrexham’s reward is a clash with Cardiff City in round four, with Phil Parkinson set to battle for Welsh bragging rights.

Wrexham ace Callum Burton named in Carabao Cup Team of the Round
Wrexham were a little flat in the first half against Reading, but really stepped it up after the break.
Record signing Nathan Broadhead emerged as the hero with two second-half goals, showing off his quality with two fine finishes.
One Wrexham player has been named in the Team of the Round after defeating Reading – but it isn’t Broadhead.
Goalkeeper Callum Burton was the only Wrexham player named in the Team of the Round, after keeping a clean sheet.
Burton had the new eight-second rule on his mind, but marked his first Wrexham appearance in nine months with a victory.
The Wrexham stopper made four saves and claimed two crosses in a strong display, which again showed that he can be relied upon whenever Phil Parkinson needs him.
The likes of Phil Foden, Bruno Guimaraes and Myles Lewis-Skelly all made the team, with Burton one of just two non-Premier League players to be included.
Nathan Broadhead deserved to be included
Burton deserved his inclusion in this team, but goalscorer Broadhead is a surprising omission from the team.
The 27-year-old curled Wrexham in front with a beautiful finish, before heading home number two off the underside of the crossbar.
The Team of the Round featured Nottingham Forest’s Igor Jesus and Newcastle United’s William Osula in attack, who both scored twice in their respective games.
Jesus bagged a brace against Swansea City last week, but Forest were knocked out by the Championship side.
Broadhead’s tie-winning brace surely counts for more in this situation, and while the Wrexham ace will just be pleased to be off the mark, he can feel a little aggrieved to have missed out on joining Burton in the Team of the Round.
