Wrexham striker Paul Mullin has just done something that no other player in the club’s history has ever achieved.
It’s been a record-breaking season across all fronts for Wrexham.
Phil Parkinson‘s men achieved back-to-back promotions for the first time in their history and as it stands, have scored the most home goals of any team in the top four leagues this term.
Paul Mullin‘s contribution of 26 goals in all competitions played a contributing role in firing Wrexham into League One, with the Liverpudlian continuing his devastating form in Wales.
Mullin has eclipsed the 100-goal mark in just three campaigns at the club and such form has propelled him into the top 10 scorers of all time. But this isn’t the only recognition he’s earned, breaking yet another record last night.

Wrexham held their end-of-season awards last night.
Max Cleworth unsurprisingly scooped the Young Player of the Season award having established himself as a top drawer defender in League Two.
Elliot Lee proudly claimed the Players Player of the Season award, as his teammates recognised his outstanding work, while Mullin won the Player of the Season award.
Although he finished as Wrexham’s top scorer for the third season running, the 29-year-old winning the award caused some controversy, as many supporters believed Andy Cannon should have won it.
Nonetheless, the Wrexham goal machine achieved something no one else has ever achieved at the club by claiming the accolade for the third season running.
Paul Mullin can fire Wrexham to further glory in League One
Mullin has only played in the third tier on one other occasion, scoring three times in 20 appearances for Tranmere Rovers.
The talismanic figure has since improved significantly in all areas of his game, including his ability to hold up the ball, bring others into play and clinically dispatch his chances.
He now has dreams of being capped for Wales, a chance that may arise if he continues his scintillating form in the third tier as Wrexham aim to make it three consecutive promotions.
Mullin fits perfectly into Parkinson’s system, as it revolves around feeding the ball into him and playing a strike partner who unselfishly creates space for the 29-year-old to thrive.
Parkinson is unlikely to deviate from this plan in League One, while Wrexham will find it difficult to find a better striker to usurp Mullin’s dominance at the top end of the pitch.
This means they’ll be relying on their ruthless striker to deliver the goods once more, and no one would back against him from doing so.
