Wrexham produced a fantastic performance to earn a crucial 2-1 victory in the League One promotion race.
James McClean celebrated his return to the side by opening the scoring after cutting in from the right hand side and bending a great strike into the bottom corner.
Wrexham fans were furious with Jay Rodriguez after the previous draw with Bristol Rovers but the striker played his part in the second goal as his lay off set up Ollie Rathbone for the second.
Blackpool did nab a late consolation as Robert Apter struck sweetly beyond Arthur Okonkwo but Phil Parkinson’s men move into second place once again and striker Paul Mullin had a message for the team.

Paul Mullin’s five word message to Wrexham team
Following Wrexham’s 2-1 win over Blackpool, Mullin took to his Instagram account to send a message of support to his team mates.
Mullin wrote: “[Two raise hands emojis] Great result from the boys!”
The 30-year-old striker was once again absent from the League One matchday squad as his Wrexham exit seems to be edging closer but he showed once again where his loyalties lie.
Mullin was in the stands to watch Wrexham’s 0-0 draw Wigan in recent weeks but would much rather be doing his bit on the pitch in the promotion cause.
Phil Parkinson reveals Paul Mullin plan
Speaking to Wrexham’s official Matchday Live after the game, Parkinson revealed the plan for Mullin and the rest of the Wrexham squad following the win.
Parkinson stated: “Everyone is in tomorrow, the players involved today will be doing a recovery session and those that weren’t involved will be training.”
The Red Dragons know that promotion is back in their hands but face a huge clash at the Racecourse Ground against Charlton in their next fixture.
The Addicks have been on a remarkable run of form and can leapfrog Wrexham should they emerge victorious in North Wales with just two games to go.
