Earlier this week Wrexham confirmed they had completed their first signing of the summer.
Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney will look to support manager Phil Parkinson in the market this summer to boost the squad’s chances at being competitive in League One.
The Red Dragons will be appearing in the third tier of English football for the first time in 19 years.
Anticipation is building amongst the fanbase after the full fixture list for the 2024/25 season was released yesterday morning.
Parkinson’s side will host Wycombe Wanderers at the Racecourse on the opening day of the 2024/25 League One season.
Before Wrexham kick off their campaign they will be looking to add some quality signings to the dressing room.
The North Wales club made a strong start to the window with the statement signing of goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo on a three-year deal.
The former Arsenal academy star signed as a free agent after his deal expired at the Emirates.
The 22-year-old impressed during his time on loan at the StoK Cae Ras last season with the fans now pleased to see the young player given a permanent contract at the club.

Phil Parkinson drops Wrexham transfer hint
The former Sunderland manager was keen on securing Okonkwo’s signature on a permanent contract. The signing was a statement by the club about their intentions this summer, with various other clubs losing out on this transfer.
The 56-year-old coach will be looking for signings of similar quality in preparation for the toughest season yet, with clubs like Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers, and Rotherham United all posing a difficult challenge ahead.
The former Bradford City coach has expressed his joy about the Okonkwo deal and the focus on potential incomings.
Speaking to the Leader, Parkinson said: “Arthur was a player in all the staffs mind that we really wanted to get on board as soon as the season finished because he is a really good goalkeeper,
“It is a key signing for us and we are pleased to get it done. It’s taken a bit of time but as I’ve said before, sometimes signings do for a variety of reasons.
“But we were able to secure the signature and I was pleased to get it done before pre-season starts. There were offers for him to go to a higher level but I think Arthur’s experience here was a very positive one.
“I am sure supporters will be excited about the signing and hopefully there will be a few more key additions before the season starts.”

Wrexham need to address this position after Arthur Okonkwo arrival
After securing Promotion to League One it was clear the Red Dragons’ number one priority was to try and convince Okonkwo to re-sign permanently.
After achieving this statement signing, Parkinson and his staff will look to other positions that need strengthening in his squad.
With the noticeable departures of Aaron Hayden and Ben Tozer, reinforcements in the backline are likely to be of high importance.
Players like Eoghan O’Connell, Will Boyle, and Tom O’Connor are strong options for the back-three, with the youthful Max Cleworth becoming an increasingly vital member of the team.
However, with the step up in quality this year, it will be important for Wrexham to have strength in depth. Adding another strong option to the backline will only help Parkinson push to compete in League One next season.
