Wrexham have a huge meeting with Wycombe Wanderers to look forward to this weekend.
Wrexham head into the clash looking to bounce back from what was a harrowing loss at the hands of Reading last time out.
A lackluster showing from the club’s frontline and a questionable penalty decision saw the Red Dragons fall to a 2-0 defeat and dealt their automatic promotion hopes a blow.
Phil Parkinson was slammed by fans for his tactics on the night, which he will need to get spot on in what is a must-win fixture this weekend.
Wycombe are above Wrexham by goal difference going into Saturday afternoon’s encounter but after the loss to Reading, the Welsh outfit have now played a game more.
In turn, victory for The Chairboys would likely mean that they will finish 2024/25 in second, leaving Parkinson and co. to battle it out in the play-offs.
It’s a massive meeting and Wrexham will need to put out as strong a squad as possible if they are to win.

Wrexham injury updates on Ryan Barnett, Sebastian Revan and George Dobson
However, the Hollywood club have had some injury issues to deal with in the last few weeks.
Andy Cannon is likely out for the season, while fellow midfielder George Dobson also suffered a knock recently.
Meanwhile, Wrexham were handed a couple of injury concerns coming out of their meeting with Reading on Tuesday.
Now, as per Leader Live, Parkinson has provided updates on Dobson, Sebastian Revan, and Ryan Barnett, the latter of which ‘doesn’t look too good’.
He said: “There’s a few knocks.
“Ollie Rathbone played but Dobson wasn’t quite right, Sebastian Revan has twisted his ankle a little bit and Ryan Barnett’s got clattered towards the end twice, which doesn’t look too good.
“There are several things we need to assess quickly.”

Why Modou Faal featured ahead of Paul Mullin vs Reading
While they are not injured, Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer have not played in any of Wrexham’s last eight league matches.
Surprisingly, Modou Faal was named on the bench ahead of the trio earlier this week and was brought on in the second half.
When asked about that call, Parkinson explained he made it because Faal ‘deserved the chance’.
He said: “I just thought Mo deserved the chance and he did well when he got on.
“He’s trained really well and he got a goal last time he started for us.
“I felt with these a bit vulnerable for crosses…..we didn’t get enough in the box in the first half.
“One brilliant one from James McClean, Barney came in at the back-stick and the lad’s cleared it off the line was probably the big moment for us.”
