Rob McElhenney has updated fans on his plans for the club ahead of the coming League One campaign.
It is going to be a tough season for Wrexham with League One posing to be the biggest test for the club since the Hollywood takeover.
The level of quality in the league is expected to be much higher with strong competition for promotion.
League One has numerous clubs who have previously been in the Championship in recent seasons, with Wrexham preparing for their first League One campaign in just under 20 years.
Since arriving in North Wales, Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have tried to prepare for the expected rise in quality by signing players from higher divisions.
The owners remain keen to support manager Phil Parkinson in the summer window after sanctioning moves for five new arrivals.
The club have already secured the signings of Arthur Okonkwo, George Dobson, Callum Burton and Sebastian Revan.
Wrexham have also strengthened their defensive line after snapping up Leicester City defender Lewis Brunt earlier this summer.
With the Wrexham Wrex Coast tour set to kick off against AFC Bournemouth, McElhenney has issued an update on his plans for the coming season and beyond.

Rob McElhenney gives honest update in ‘difficult’ Wrexham challenge
After a rapid rise from the National League with back-to-back promotions to League One, this coming campaign feels like a new chapter under the Hollywood ownership.
Reaching League One football is a huge achievement for the Red Dragons, but the ambitious owners want to continue the rise up the EFL.
Becoming a Championship club would be an incredible feat in North Wales but provides to be a big challenge to achieve.
Speaking about his plans to achieve that goal, McElhenney has revealed his and co-owner Reynolds’ plans for the club.
Speaking to BBC Sport, the Wrexham owner said: “It’s been difficult every year, but, it’s only going to get harder, harder, and harder.
“The best we can do is invest in our manager Phil, and invest in the infrastructure of the town and team, and build up our Youth academy.
“Hopefully give Phil the access to every player he wants and then give it a shot.”

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are doing all the right things at Wrexham
If Wrexham are able to get promoted it will need a strong structure in place, and one that is ready made for Championship status.
It can be questioned whether the club’s infrastructure is ready for the challenge of Championship football.
However, the Hollywood owners will be working hard in the coming months and years to improve the club’s structure.
Success on the pitch has been brilliant and enables the club to improve and progress.
It will be a real challenge in League One, but the winners are doing everything right in terms of preparation.
Allowing the former Sunderland manager access to the transfer targets he desires can only strengthen the team’s ability to be competitive.
The transfer strategy of targeting players with League One experience is a smart plan that will help the squad transition to the level expected.
With the smart preparation and extra quality added in the summer window, fans and owners alike will be hoping they can once again push to be competitive in the coming campaign.
