Following Wrexham’s draw to Bradford City, Ally McCoist and Alan Brazil have spoken out about the amazing attendance at Valley Parade.
In last weekend’s fixtures, Wrexham travelled to face Bradford in a game which had plenty of eyes on it.
The home side dominated for the most part but Phil Parkinson’s side still managed to take the lead through Paul Mullin.
Despite the performances at the back, including the returning Jordan Tunnicliffe, Adam Wilson levelled the scores late on.
For a League Two match on a Saturday at 3 p.m., the attendance was one of the highest in the Red Dragons’ history.
According to the club’s official website, the game represented the 20th largest turnout in their history.

The conversation arose on TalkSPORT as Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq lost 1-0 to Al-Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League.
His side played in front of a crowd of less than 700 and the pair were comparing that to attendance in the EFL and below.
Discussing this, they came on to the game at Valley Parade: “I’m going to give you the crowd of the weekend. Bradford vs Wrexham.
“At the weekend, 22,000 were at Bradford vs Wrexham.”
This came as a shock to Brazil who could only say: “Wow.”
It is a quite staggering statistic given the level. Comparatively, there were two Premier League and five championship games that had less.
Adding to that, McCoist said: “That’s just fantastic, isn’t it? 22,000 at Bradford vs Wrexham in division two, do you not think that is absolute magic?
Fans always travel from North Wales in good numbers, and as a former Premier League side Bradford are the same.
It should come as no surprise that these two sides had such a large amount of interest.
Given the contrasting money in Saudi Arabia to League Two, the irony is impossible to ignore.
