Stevenage fans mocked Wrexham striker Steven Fletcher during the League One fixture on Tuesday evening.
Wrexham took on Stevenage in a League One meeting in midweek, aiming to bounce back from their disappointing 0-0 draw in midweek.
With the club football schedule now heating up as we near the winter window, Phil Parkinson made several changes to his starting line-up on October 1st.
At the back, the injured Max Cleworth was replaced by summer signing Dan Scarr while Sebastian Revan was handed a rare start at left-wing-back with James McClean moving up into midfield.
Further forward, Parkinson opted for a striking partnership of Steven Fletcher and Jack Marriott, with favorites Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer dropped to the bench.
Wrexham lacked any real attacking threat versus Stevenage, failing to score and having just one shot on target across the 90 minutes.
Fletcher, in particular, struggled and was mocked by the home supporters at Broadhall Way.

Stevenage fans mock Wrexham ace Steven Fletcher
Fletcher joined Wrexham on a free transfer during the summer of 2023 after leaving Dundee United.
The 37-year-old has previously enjoyed spells in the Premier League with the likes of Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanders.
For Wrexham, the Scotsman has scored nine in 43 appearances across all competitions, including one this season.
Fletcher did try to steal a Max Cleworth goal earlier this month but the ball was already over the line.
Against Stevenage, meanwhile, the ex-Premier League ace was far from his best and as per The Athletic, was mocked by the home supporters during the game.
The striker was down receiving treatment shortly before the half-time whistle on Tuesday when the Stevenage faithful began chanting ‘You’re just a s*** Andy Carroll’ at him.

Steven Fletcher running out of chances at Wrexham
With Fletcher now 37 and in the final year of his contract at the Racecourse Ground, he is running out of chances to impress Parkinson.
The ageing forward was far from his best on Tuesday and with Wrexham really struggling to score goals on the road this term, his time as a semi-regular feature may now be up.
The Red Dragons have so many attacking options on their books right now and it is hard to see where Fletcher fits in going forward.
Mullin and Palmer are Parkinson’s preferred striking duo right now while Marriott started the season in great form, though that has dropped off somewhat in the last few games.
Wrexham’s record signing Modou Faal may also be finally given a chance to shine amid the club’s struggles in the goal department of late.
Should Faal perform, this may relegate Fletcher to the fifth-choice striking option going forward.
