Foster signed for Wrexham in December 2024. The goalkeeper had previously been at West Brom before he was released in the summer.

After training with Wrexham for a couple of weeks, Parkinson opted to sign the 23-year-old and he made his debut in an EFL Trophy match against Crewe.

His first appearance was a success and Foster was voted man-of-the-match against Crewe after keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.

Foster has spent most of his career playing for the academies at Derby County and West Brom. 

During this time, he managed to lift the Under 18s English Youth League before enjoying loan spells at Rushall Olympic and Alvechurch.

His first appearance in the English Football League did not come until his debut for Wrexham, therefore, few stats are known.

Upon signing for Wrexham, Parkinson explained that he was pleased to have signed Foster.

“He’s been training with us for a couple of weeks helping us on the training ground because we’re short and during the training week we need goalkeepers to do the shooting practices,” said Parkinson.

“He’s been working with us and is a bit older and a bit more experienced than Liam Hall,” he added.
