Wrexham picked up another three points on Saturday afternoon, beating Burton Albion 1-0 just after making a new signing.
Wrexham have racked up 200 points at home under Phil Parkinson and really needed to take that home form on the road this weekend.
Away form has been a problem for Wrexham this season but a clash with struggling Burton Albion looked to be a winnable one.
Horrendous conditions put the game in doubt as Storm Darragh continues to cause mayhem, but Wrexham just about managed to grab another win.
Elliot Lee’s corner was taken by the wind and nestled in the net via the post, handing Wrexham all three points on the road.
Wrexham fans praised Lee’s goal as Wrexham claimed a fourth clean sheet in a row despite continued goalkeeping problems.

Phil Parkinson explains Brad Foster deal
Wrexham appeared so settled between the sticks just a month ago with Arthur Okonkwo starting and Callum Burton backing him up.
That has all changed after Okonkwo picked up a wrist injury in November.
Burton impressed Parkinson and looked set for a run in the Wrexham side with Okonkwo not expected back until early 2025.
Disaster has struck though with Burton picking up a thigh injury against Barnsley, leaving veteran Mark Howard to start against Burton.
Wrexham have now turned to the free agent market for the fourth time this season having previously signed Josh Adam, Matty James and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.
Wrexham announced the signing of free agent Brad Foster on Saturday, handing the 23-year-old a ‘short-term contract’ at the STōK Cae Ras before naming him on the bench at Burton.
Parkinson has now opened up on that decision, admitting to BBC Sport that the former West Bromwich Albion man has actually been at Wrexham for ‘a couple of weeks’.
Foster has been helping Wrexham in training after Okonkwo’s injury and has now been handed a deal having seemingly done enough to impress.
Parkinson drew attention to Foster being more experienced than young Wrexham stopper Liam Hall, believing that he needed more know-how in his ranks after Burton’s injury.
“He’s been training with us for a couple of weeks helping us on the training ground because we’re short and during the training week we need goalkeepers to do the shooting practices,” said Parkinson.
“He’s been working with us and is a bit older and a bit more experienced than Liam Hall,” he added.

Who is Wrexham new signing Foster?
When Wrexham announced the signing of a goalkeeper named Foster, we can understand any fan who mistakenly thought Ben Foster had come out of retirement again.
That is not the case though with Wrexham’s new man yet really make his mark in EFL action.
Foster spent time in the youth ranks at Stoke City and Derby County before dropping into non-league with Ilkeston Town and Nuneaton.
West Bromwich Albion signed Foster in 2023 and loaned him out to Rushall Olympic and Alvechurch before letting him leave last summer.
Foster will know one Wrexham man well already though having crossed paths with striker Modou Faal at West Brom.
Faal and Foster signed new contracts together in 2023, as noted on West Brom’s official website, the pair now reunite at Wrexham.
Burton could be out for the season and with Okonkwo not close to a return either, Foster looks set to find himself involved at Wrexham in the coming weeks – possibly even featuring in Tuesday’s EFL Trophy clash with Crewe Alexandra.
