Wrexham have become the envy of most fans in the English Football League following their takeover by Hollywood superstars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Wrexham are currently chasing League One promotion as they sit four points outside of the automatic places but are eleven points behind leaders Birmingham City.
Reynolds and McElhenney have formed a rivalry with Tom Brady off the pitch as the Birmingham minority owner has exchanged humorous banter in relation to the on pitch rivalry between the two clubs.
Wrexham and Birmingham drew 1-1 at the Racecourse Ground earlier on in the season but it seems that new signing Sam Smith has managed to ruffle a few feathers amongst Blues fans.

Birmingham fans unhappy with Sam Smith being awarded League One goal of the month
Smith was awarded the League One goal of the month for January for his strike against Cambridge for former club Reading.
Birmingham fans have taken to X to express their disapproval at the award and they have more than one reason to justify their anger.
One Birmingham fan wrote: “Weird not mentioning Reading FC considering that’s who he scored the goals for.”
Another fan wrote: “Birmingham aren’t in League One anymore then clearly according to the EFL, where is Anderson’s award?”
Blues fans are showing that they believe there is an agenda against their club and a clamour for the North Wales side, with one fan stating: “Can’t even hide the biased anymore when it comes to Wrexham.”
Smith has to kick on for Wrexham in their promotion push
Despite scoring 11 league goals so far this season, Smith is yet to get off the mark for his new club Wrexham.
Parkinson had identified Smith as his main man after reportedly breaking the club’s transfer record in order to sign the 26-year-old striker.

It is clear upon the arrival of Smith that the Red Dragons boss is planning to build his side around the focal point of Smith.
Parkinson stated to Wrexham’s official website: “Sam is a player we’ve been pursuing for a while. He’s a striker who’s done really well over the last few seasons and he’s at a great age.”
Smith could do with a goal against Northampton to really announce himself to his new club and ease that burden that will start to build the longer it goes without him finding the back of the net.
