Wrexham are back in league action on Saturday, while Wigan Athletic are playing a League One tie earlier in the day.
Wrexham opted to send former star striker Paul Mullin out on loan for the 2025/26 season.
The attacker has remained local, moving to the North West of England with Wigan Athletic.
Wigan fans were unhappy with Mullin earlier this week when he started in a defeat to Luton Town on Tuesday evening.
The Latics return to action at 12:30pm BST on August 23, taking on Rotherham United.

Paul Mullin decision for Wigan Athletic vs Rotherham United
After the Luton defeat, one Wigan expert explained Mullin’s struggles, suggesting he was ‘frustrated’ during the loss.
Now, manager Ryan Lowe has made a decision on the Wrexham loanee ahead of their meeting with Rotherham.
Wigan’s team news was released an hour and 15 minutes prior to kick-off on Saturday.
And Lowe has decided to drop Mullin back to the bench following his first league start of the season last time out.
Paul Mullin record in League One
After Wrexham won promotion to the third tier for 2024/25, Mullin struggled for consistent goals.
The 30-year-old had finished the previous three campaigns as the club’s top goalscorer.
But he managed just three League One goals last term, losing his place after January 28.
Throughout his career, the Wrexham ace has played in the third tier 50 times, scored six goals and assisted one.
