It has been revealed that Wrexham have now won the most points at home in the whole of the 92 teams in the EFL and Premier League.

It has been a great season for Wrexham which has seen them return to League Two and take to it with ease.

Following National League promotion last time around, not many could have dreamed have how well it would go.

Under Phil Parkinson’s management, the Reds have picked up where they left off. They now occupy second place in the league.

This has seen standout performances so far this campaign. These include the early season win against Notts County and the FA Cup win against Shrewsbury.

These have been great team performances but stars like Elliot Lee and Paul Mullin have shone. They have proved to be amongst the best players in the league.

Now a stat has been revealed that just goes to show how good Wrexham have been since being promoted.

Wrexham home points tally best in 92

The foundation of the great form that the Reds have shown this season has been their performances at The Racecourse.

This sees them, according to FotMob, be the best team at home in League Two while they are 11th for away form.

Now a post by Playermaker Stats on Twitter has shown just how good the form at The Racecourse has been.

On that, they said: “Most points won at HOME in 23/24 (top 4 tiers): 35- Wrexham; 33- Leicester, Ipswich, Stockport; 32- Southampton, Blackpool.”

This is such a great achievement for the Reds and is a testament to Parkinson and Co who have made it possible. There have been plenty of memorable moments in the league so far although there only being 14 home games.

Even just in recent weeks, Steven Fletcher’s hattrick against Barrow including the three goals in first half added time.

Add to this huge wins like the 6-0 thrashing over Morecombe which was no easy feat given the form they had shown.

There has been just one loss so far and this came on opening weekend. This was a tough 5-3 defeat against MK Dons who have gone on to fight for the playoffs this season.

This list compares Wrexham to some of the elite sides in the leagues above. Given how strong the squads of Southampton and Leicester City are, to be above them is superb.

Here’s to hoping that this home form can be maintained. If it can it will serve as a great base and allow the Reds to fight for back-to-back promotion.
