Could Wrexham do the absolute unthinkable this season? We’re certainly beginning to believe it could be possible.

Phil Parkinson‘s men are now 5th in League Two, after what has been a whirring of a season so far.

After 13 games, the Red Dragons have won six games, drew five and lost just two in their venture back into the English Football League. Remarkable really.

Wrexham has a phenomenal squad, with lots of depth and immense raw talent – which has led to many, including ourselves, thinking they could do the absolute unthinkable this season.

Will Wrexham do the unthinkable?

The question on everyone’s lips after Wrexham have shown their competency in the division is, can they do the unthinkable and get back-to-back promotions?

Their recent form suggests so – they only sit three points off the top spot. The beauty of League Two is, it’s also actually easier to get promoted.

Instead of just two places like last season, Wrexham double their odds with four promotion places up for grabs.

Now don’t get us wrong… there’s a long way left. But dare to dream, right?

Could they go one further?

Now this one is an even bigger stretch, but could they get back-to-back titles? This is a whole different ball game and monumentally less likely.

The standard of the division is so high and there are some insane teams. Stockport County, Notts County, Mansfield and Crewe Alexandra will all be in contention – but Wrexham are equal, if not better.

It’s a case of consistent longevity, but we’re beginning to believe more and more as weeks go by.

Could they do back-to-back titles and go down in footballing history?
