Wrexham suffered a huge blow in the first half of their Championship clash with West Brom.
With the Red Dragons having gone behind thanks to an excellent finish from Isaac Price, Phil Parkinson was handed a double problem just before the half hour mark.
After Kieffer Moore won yet another aerial battle and flicked the ball on, Josh Windass appeared to pull up with a hamstring problem.
Nathan Broadhead replaced Windass for his debut but after being Wrexham’s brightest spark in the opening exchanges, fans are now fearing the worst.

Wrexham fans react to Josh Windass injury vs West Brom
Windass has impressed Wrexham fans so far since his summer move from Sheffield Wednesday and his absence will be felt by the team.
Wrexham fans have taken to X to express their disappointment over the injury and some fans are already counting down the days to his return.
One fan wrote: “That will be a huge loss if it’s as serious as it looks, pulled up straight away.”
Another fan wrote: “The problem with buying aging players who can play at the level you want is they can’t play for long with the same intensity as a younger player and are more prone to injury. Very Simple.”
One Wrexham supporter has sent a plea to the medical staff, they said: “Medics – u worked some magic on moore now can u do same with josh please, been best new signing so far imo, but not a bad sub to bring on in the £10m man, 2 league games, 2 injury’s though.”
Nathan Broadhead the obvious Josh Windass replacement
Broadhead came on for Windass during the game and should the 32-year-old’s hamstring injury see him ruled out for a significant period of time, the former Ipswich man is the likely replacement.
The Welsh international thrives playing off the left flank but has also played in behind a striker in the number ten position.

His ability to find pockets of space, alongside his wonderful vision and passing range will see him as the ideal person to take the responsibility of being the side’s main creative force.
During the first half against West Brom, there was a notable shift from Parkinson’s side to play more possession-based football and Broadhead will be a key figure in that system.
