Wrexham fans react to new training kit

Wrexham’s new training kit is now sponsored by Ancestry.com.

The kit has been receiving mixed reviews from fans on social media since it was recently revealed.

One fan wrote: “Nice to see the club get more creative. Not sure about the red badge though.”

A second replied: “Agree, all white logo would’ve been nicer. But definitely cool design.

Another fan stated: “So far people have complained about all the kits every year, I just don’t understand. The entitlement is off the charts. Get a grip people be grateful for where we are.”

“I’m not sure on the new design,” a fourth tweeted, accompanied by a picture of a train seat.

A fifth Wrexham fan responded: “Looks like Space Invaders, for those old enough to remember.”

Another supporter added: “Wetherspoons called, they want their carpet back,” while a seventh wrote: “These some beautiful kits!!!”

Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds comment on Wrexham sponsorship

After the 2025/26 training kit was launched, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney sent out a statement.

Wrexham have secured some high-profile sponsorship deals since Rob and Ryan took over, with Ancestry being the latest.

The pair stated: “Ancestry is an amazing brand and if they can help us make sense of all the Davies, Williamses and Joneses in Wrexham, the partnership will be worth it for that alone!”
