Ollie Palmer still has a chance to shine

Striker Palmer struggled for playing time after the January transfer window and many expected him to move on this summer.

Paul Mullin has joined Wigan Athletic having been in a similar boat to Palmer, but he is still with Wrexham as things stand.

Palmer has outlined his hopes of a Wrexham future, and this pre-season period now gives him a chance to shine.

All Palmer can do is give this pre-season period his all and attempt to convince Parkinson that he still has a big part to play.

Bradford City wanted Palmer in January and with no move imminent this summer, the veteran target man will be looking to seize this opportunity.
