Wrexham have made their latest move in the transfer window with another arrival at the Racecourse.
Wrexham preparations for the 2024/25 season are well underway, with pre-season training in full flow, and new players are starting to arrive in North Wales.
The club started strong in the summer window with former Arsenal goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo returning to the club after his impressive loan deal last season.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson made the permanent signing of Okonkwo one of his main priorities heading into the summer.
Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have continued the summer spending after they snapped up Leicester City defender Lewis Brunt.
The Red Dragons beat Mansfield Town to his signature after Brunt impressed on loan at Mansfield last campaign.

Lewis Brunt says what he can bring to Wrexham
After the recent departures of Aaron Hayden and Ben Tozer, new defensive reinforcements became a priority position for Parkinson’s side. The latest arrival will have to compete with the likes of Eoghan O’Connell, Will Boyle, Tom O’Connor, and Max Cleworth for a starting position.
New signing Brunt is confident he can add some quality and a different playing profile to the squad.
Speaking to the club’s YouTube page, the defender described himself: “A ball-playing centre-half that likes to be on the ball.
“Centre half and midfield is somewhere I’m comfortable playing. I’m comfortable on the ball, a nice passing range, and someone who can step into midfield.”

Brunt and Cleworth can be key Wrexham players for years to come
In recent years Wrexham have targeted more experienced players, who are in the more senior years of their career but can provide a different profile to the squad.
It has been a transfer tactic that has worked with it providing instant quality and vital experience of playing at a higher level.
With Wrexham progressing up the Football League and continuing their exciting project, they can now attract younger players with star quality. The summer signings of Okonkwo and Brunt epitomise the pull the club currently has.
The former Leicester man can form a defensive partnership with fellow youngster Cleworth. The two centre-backs have grown into quality defenders in the EFL and have a promising future.
The Wrexham boss now has two young defenders who will perform at present but have the potential to stay with the club to help reach new heights.
Signings like Brunt can be the foundation of a squad that could reach higher levels in years to come.
