The Red Dragons and Birmingham City have become rivals of sorts over the last year.
Tom Brady has slammed Wrexham and their owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac.
Birmingham beat the Welsh side to the League One title in 2024/25, earning an EFL record 111 points.
But with both teams still winning promotion to the Championship, they have once again been competing over the summer.
Their first league meeting of the season is now less than a month away, and before that takes place, they have been going head-to-head to sign several players.

Tommy Doyle struggling for minutes at Birmingham City
Wrexham wanted to sign Tommy Doyle from Wolverhampton Wanderers during the 2025 summer transfer window.
Parkinson was keen to improve in midfield and eventually added Lewis O’Brien, George Thomason and Ben Sheaf to his ranks.
As for Doyle, he chose to sign for Birmingham on a season-long loan deal.
However, his time at St Andrew’s has proven pretty difficult so far.
Doyle struggled on his Birmingham debut when coming off the bench against Ipswich Town.
Since then, the midfielder has been used as a bit-part player by manager Chris Davies, notching a total of 64 minutes from the bench across four Championship matches.

It’s not just Doyle that both teams were linked with during the 2025 summer transfer window, however.
Birmingham were interested in O’Brien before he completed a permanent move to North Wales.
Elsewhere, Wrexham missed out on Lewis Koumas following his move to the Midlands from Liverpool.
