Wrexham should be looking at one man to rival Kieffer Moore in the 2026 January transfer window.
Fans will probably agree that, for the most part, the Red Dragons had a productive summer.
Are there still gaps in the squad that need to be filled? Of course, but given the amount of work that needed doing after promotion to the Championship was achieved, it would have been impossible for Wrexham to do all their business in one window.
In turn, it makes sense for the Dragons to once again be eyeing reinforcements this winter.
Wrexham can spend £10m in January without having to worry about PSR, and one position is set to be targeted.
It emerged this week that Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have given the green light for Phil Parkinson to sign a striker in January.
A proper back-up option for Kieffer Moore is needed, and there is one man who would fill that void well.

Tobias Lauritsen is the ideal Kieffer Moore rival
Moore has been superb since signing for Wrexham, already notching five goals in all competitions.
However, Steven Fletcher and Ollie Palmer’s exits mean the Welsh international is now the only natural big man in Parkinson’s squad.
Since he became manager in 2021, the 57-year-old has relied heavily on a towering striker to score and create chances in his system.
But if Moore is injured or suspended, there is no like-for-like replacement in the team right now.
Sam Smith is effective off the bench and offers something different, but if Parkinson wants to play his traditional football all season, cover is needed.
On that front, Tobias Lauritsen is someone Wrexham should be looking at in the January transfer window.

Three reasons Wrexham should sign Tobias Lauritsen
Lauritsen is currently on the books of Dutch outfit Sparta Rotterdam.
Transfermarkt values the player at €3.50m (around £3m), but his current contract is due to expire at the end of June 2026.
On paper, that likely means, unless he is given a fresh deal, Sparta could be open to selling him for a reduced fee in January so they don’t lose him for nothing in the summer.
Furthermore, if Wrexham want cover for Moore, which they should, they will need a towering centre-forward.
Lauritsen certainly ticks that box, standing at 1.94m tall, which is just over 6ft 3.
The 28-year-old is a proven goalscorer, having netted 38 and assisted 17 in 106 Eredivisie matches, including four goals and one assist in eight this term.
It’s not often Wrexham explore the European market to sign players, but that is something that will need to change if they want to get the best value for money in the Championship. As we saw with Liberato Cacace’s arrival this summer, it’s something they are willing to do.
