Wrexham are expected to complete the transfer of Ryan Longman from Hull City in the January transfer window.
There are now less than two weeks of the winter window, which shuts on February 3rd, remaining.
No fresh faces have been brought to the Racecourse Ground as of yet, but a new signing appears to be on the horizon.
It emerged on Tuesday that Wrexham are on the verge of signing Ryan Longman for £500,000 from second-tier outfit, Hull City.
Oxford United are out of the race for Longman, with their manager confirming he no longer expects a transfer for the player this week.
As a result, after a long wait, Red Dragons fans finally have something to be very excited about on the transfer front.
And we have now taken a look at all the possible shirt numbers available to Longman when/if his transfer is completed.

Ryan Longman potential Wrexham shirt number
Normally, fans will have a rough idea of what shirt number a new player will wear based on their position.
At the moment though, it is not quite clear where Phil Parkinson will look to deploy Longman as he can play as a winger, centre-forward and wing-back.
Joining midway through a season also means a lot of the major numbers such as 9, 10 and seven are taken already.
But we have now detailed every shirt number that is currently available for Longman to take at Wrexham this winter.

Ryan Longman could take Wrexham flop’s shirt number
As is to be expected at this stage of a campaign, there are not too many appealing shirt numbers for Longman to pick from.
Number two would be an interesting choice but that is normally given to a full-back.
At present, Longman is donning the number 16 shirt for Hull and could keep that when he joins Wrexham.
Billy Waters started 2024/25 as the club’s number 16 but he has now left in January to link up with Oldham Athletic, freeing it up for Longman to snap up once more.
Waters was one of the most disappointing signings of the Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds era but hopefully, the 24-year-old will fare better if he takes the forward’s old squad number.
