Ollie Palmer’s time at Wrexham is expected to come to an end this summer, and the player has already shared his stance on a transfer.
Signed in January 2022, Ollie Palmer and Paul Mullin formed a formidable striker partnership that took Wrexham from the National League to League One.
Palmer was given a new contract in 2024 after a solid start to the 2024/25 season, keeping him at the club until 2026.
However, the 33-year-old, like Mullin, lost his place in the squad at the end of January when Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez arrived.
Six months later, it’s understood that Wrexham have offered Palmer to multiple clubs and are willing to help out financially with a move.
But this is not the first time the Dragons have tried to move the forward on in 2025.

Ollie Palmer’s comments about leaving Wrexham
Palmer did not play a single game for Wrexham after January 28, featuring in a rare home loss to Stevenage.
Phil Parkinson said very little about his and Mullin’s absence for the remainder of the season.
But in Welcome to Wrexham Season 4, some light was finally shed on the pair being dropped.
Episode 6 was heavily focused on the two Wrexham strikers, and in it, Palmer revealed Parkinson told him to leave on loan in January.
The Englishman discussed this during a phone call with his dad and made it clear he didn’t want to leave.
He said: “He [Parkinson] thinks it’s best for me to go out on loan, I said I want to be part of the promotion. I’ve given everything to this club and the community and loved it.
“Why would I then want to…. It’s just I’ve built a bond with the boys and the staff and the fans, and everything to do with Wrexham.
“I just don’t know what to do. You don’t want to be somewhere where you’re not wanted, but my heart is to be at this football club and continue what I’ve been doing and help the team in any way, so I just don’t know.”

Which teams could Ollie Palmer sign for
After confirming that the striker has been offered to several sides this summer, we know of two teams that have shown interest.
AFC Wimbledon, the attacker’s previous club before joining Wrexham, have looked at the player.
Meanwhile, MK Dons, who are expected to have a solid season in League Two under new manager Paul Warne, have also shown some interest.
A move is not thought to be close at this stage, but Wrexham are ready to let the club icon depart.
