Wrexham still have one game to go this season but plans for the summer transfer window will already be a focus for Phil Parkinson and co.
Wrexham have secured back-to-back promotions and will be playing League One football once again next season.
For the first time in nearly 20 years, Wrexham are back in the third tier and the rapid rise in recent years has been a whirlwind for supporters.
Stockport County will visit the STōK Cae Ras this weekend and after that, it’s full steam ahead to the summer.
Wrexham players will be heading off to Las Vegas for another promotion party, paid for by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
The ‘Hollywood owners’ will also need to bankroll some signings with Parkinson accepting that additions are needed.
Parkinson feels that the jump from League Two to League One is bigger than the one from National League to League Two and thinks Wrexham have to nail recruitment.

Wrexham target Benji Magee wins award
There aren’t too many rumours around right now but one name mentioned in recent weeks is Loughgall talent Benji Magee.
Reports earlier in April suggested that Wrexham were keen on Magee and were battling the likes of Bolton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic – two of Parkinson’s former clubs – for his signature.
The rumour hasn’t advanced since then but Magee has now won an award over in Northern Ireland.
At the Northern Ireland Football Awards, Magee was named Young Player of the Year for the 2023-24 season.
Magee fended off competition from Cliftonville’s Shea Kearney and Linfield’s Ethan Mcgee to take home the award.
Magee has hit 16 goals in 31 games this season with the 21-year-old enjoying a real breakthrough season in Northern Ireland’s top flight.
Where would Magee fit at Wrexham?
We would like to see more pace added to the Wrexham attack and Magee could be that player.
Loughgall boss Dean Smith has praised Magee for his ‘electric pace’ whilst his ability to play on the flanks may just provide some flexibility for Parkinson.
Wrexham do have a number of strikers at the club right now though and one may need to leave in order for somebody to come in.
Paul Mullin, Ollie Palmer, Steven Fletcher, Jack Marriott and Sam Dalby are all at Parkinson’s disposal and it’s difficult to imagine a sixth option coming in right now.
If one player does leave from the attacking ranks, then maybe a young, promising, speedy talent like Magee is the kind of talent Wrexham will want.
Wrexham have prioritised immediate impact players in recent times, accelerating through the league with experienced players prioritised over youngsters.
Adding players with some resale value should come into Wrexham’s thinking a little more now and Magee fits that bill as his sock continues to rise in Northern Ireland.
