Wrexham fans are focused on the new League One season but there is still business to be done in the final weeks of the transfer window too.
It’s now less than a week until Wrexham still step onto the STōK Cae Ras pitch as a League One club.
Something which seemed so far away just a few years ago is now just around the corner for Wrexham fans.
Saturday’s 1-0 home win over Fleetwood Town brought down the curtain on an encouraging pre-season campaign.
Wrexham will now focus on facing Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday afternoon and have another new signing in the mix.
Wrexham have secured the signature of defender Dan Scarr, bringing the total number of summer arrivals to six.

Grimsby Town boss on Wrexham raid
Phil Parkinson may still want some new faces before the window closes and there should also be a focus on moving some players out.
Wrexham are chasing the likes of Will Lankshear, Bailey Cadamarteri, Kieron Bowie and John McAtee, so some fringe players may need to go.
Midfielder Jordan Davies may be one player who Wrexham are willing to let go.
The 25-year-old has watched Wrexham sign another midfielder this summer with George Dobson arriving on a free transfer.
Sebastian Revan’s arrival also means that James McClean is more likely to operate as a midfielder than as a left wing back this season.
Davies may be a bit-part player and he is now the source of interest from League Two.
Grimsby Town boss David Artell has told BBC Radio Humberside that his interest in signing Davies is ‘common knowledge’ now.
Artell is ‘hopeful’ that Grimsby can pull off a deal for Davies but is calling on the club to make sure that terms are agreed.
Artell also refused to be drawn on whether this would be a loan or permanent move, seemingly leaving the door open for Davies to leave Wrexham for good.
“Yeah, I think that’s fairly common knowledge now,” said Artell. “We’re hopeful it will get done, but until it gets done, there’s no point – it’s just speculation. We’ve got to agree to the terms and everything else and if we do, then I’m sure it will help.”
“Let’s just wait until we see what we can do,” he added when asked if Davies would be a permanent signing.
Jordan Davies may need to move on
Wrexham fans would no doubt love to see Davies become a star.
The midfielder hails from Wrexham and started his career in the club’s youth ranks before leaving for Brighton and Hove Albion in 2017.
Davies returned to Wrexham in 2020 having been released by the Seagulls and has been an important part of the club’s rise.
142 games, 37 goals – including 21 in the 2021-22 campaign – mean Davies has been a prominent figure.
Wrexham’s rapid rise up the leagues means that some player may be left behind though.
Davies is a prime example of that as he is now seeing Wrexham’s standards grow and grow after back-to-back promotions.
First-team action in League One may be hard to come by and Davies may have to make a heart-wrenching decision to leave his hometown club once again this summer.
