The 31-year-old has played 276 times in the top flight and was once hailed as a ‘really good’ player by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola as per FourFourTwo.

Wrexham show clear change in transfer strategy this summer
During Parkinson’s reign, Wrexham have resorted to signing experienced players ready to produce for the here and now to get them promoted.
However, Wrexham’s owners want to reach the Premier League by 2027 and have now turned their attentions to signing players for the long-term success of the club.

Young players such as Callum Doyle suggest that Wrexham are now thinking about building a consistent side ready to improve in the Championship over the next couple of seasons.
