Wrexham brought in a new striker on deadline day as Phil Parkinson decided to let three forwards leave the club on loan.
The transfer window shut just short of a fortnight ago with Wrexham securing one signing on deadline day.
Striker Modou Faal arrived from West Bromwich Albion, penning a permanent deal after loan spells at Doncaster Rovers and Walsall.
Faal cost Wrexham around £500,000 according to reports with Parkinson gambling on his potential.
Faal needs time to shine at Wrexham and is certainly a project player at Wrexham but his arrival offered a boost as three forwards moved on.
Wrexham allowed Jake Bickerstaff to join Altrincham whilst Billy Waters joined Halifax Town as Wrexham resurrected his departure at the last minute.

Sam Dalby on Steven Fletcher message
Wrexham also managed to squeeze in one final departure as striker Sam Dalby joined Dundee United on loan.
Dalby heads to Tannadice in search of first-team action having fallen down the pecking order at Wrexham.
The 24-year-old also follows in the footsteps of Wrexham striker Steven Fletcher in terms of turning out for Dundee United.
Dalby has now told Sky Sports that he did speak to Fletcher ahead of his move to Scotland.
Dalby noted that Fletcher is ‘buzzing’ with the move and vowed to come and watch Dalby in action if he can.
The striker added that he knew Dundee United wanted him throughout the window and that helped him make the late move to Scotland.
“It came about quite late in the window, on deadline day, but I’ve had a lot of interest from United throughout the whole of the transfer window. I’ve always known that they wanted me here and that has definitely played a big part in why I am here today,” said Dalby.
“Obviously, Fletch was here before and he had nothing but good things to say. He was buzzing I was coming here and told me he was going to come to a couple of games if he can. He was just happy that I managed to make the move,” he added.
Dalby faces tough route back to Wrexham
Dalby will be looking to shine for Dundee United but whether that will lead to a future at Wrexham is unclear.
Wrexham are progressing rapidly and not everybody can stay on this journey.
Rob McElhenney has admitted that Luke Young’s exit was ‘devastating’ as Wrexham made the tough decision to let him go.
Dalby’s work rate and effort has always been appreciated at Wrexham and Phil Parkinson has been a fan of his impact in the final third.
Letting Dalby go at the end of the season would not be an easy call but Wrexham’s progress means tough decisions must be made – and Dalby may well be moved on as the club’s rise continues.
