With Phil Parkinson’s side just days away from the clash with Southampton, they have added another body to their growing squad.

Wrexham have signed Kieffer Moore from Championship rivals Sheffield United on a three-year contract at the Racecourse Ground.

Wrexham fans react to Kieffer Moore signing

Wrexham have already added Ryan Hardie and Josh Windass to their attacking talents this summer and Moore brings a totally unique threat with his aerial ability.

Fans have taken to X to voice their opinion over the club’s latest acquisition and it is fair to say they are loving Parkinson’s move.

One fan wrote: “What a signing yet again! Premier League here we come!!!!”

Another fan wrote: “Might not be the most gifted of footballers we’ll ever sign, but there won’t be many players better suited to Parky ball than him either, big signing this!”

One fan expressed their delight at the signing with in a simple yet very effective way, they wrote: “Kieffer Moore. Statement signing.”

Will Phil Parkinson risk Kieffer Moore against Southampton

Moore could make his Wrexham debut against Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium, however, the striker has not played a minute of football for the club.

The likes of Ryan Hardie and Josh Windass have already featured during pre-season and got to know their teammates during training sessions.

Sam Smith is raring to go after his incredible efforts in League One and will also be thinking that he deserves a starting berth.

Parkinson will need to make a concrete decision on his starting line up as soon as possible so that the players can prepare in the lead up to the game.

The Red Dragons are likely to surrender most of the possession and a player like Moore may be more effective coming from the bench against the Saints.
