Wrexham may be in the market for another striker this summer after learning disappointing news about Paul Mullin and his surgery.
Wrexham have been busy so far this summer, adding five new signings to Phil Parkinson’s squad.
Goalkeepers Arthur Okonkwo and Callum Burton have arrived, bolstering Parkinson’s options between the sticks.
Defenders Lewis Brunt and Sebastian Revan have joined from Premier League clubs, reuniting after their time together at Aston Villa.
Midfielder George Dobson has also arrived, joining forces with Parkinson once again after their time together at Sunderland.
Wrexham have added quality and depth in multiple areas but may be forced into the market for a striker.

Wrexham eye Will Lankshear
Star striker Paul Mullin looks set to miss pre-season and potentially the start of the League One campaign.
Mullin was forced to undergo surgery earlier this summer in an attempt to solve issues with his back and hamstrings.
Wrexham will hope to have Mullin back fit and firing soon enough but may need to explore a signing in the final third.
Reports last week suggested that Wrexham have made an enquiry into the possibility of signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Will Lankshear.
Wrexham want the striker on loan but face competition from Championship duo Hull City and Sunderland.
Lankshear – formerly of Arsenal and Sheffield United – has impressed in pre-season so far, scoring against Heart of Midlothian last week.
It’s no surprise that Lankshear is now attracting interest as he potentially prepares for his first loan spell in football.
Yet if Wrexham were hoping for a swift resolution to this transfer chase, then those hopes have been dashed.
Tottenham Hotspur make decision on Wrexham target Lankshear
Tottenham have now confirmed their squad for the upcoming tour of Japan and South Korea.
Lankshear has been included in that squad with the teenager handed a golden chance to shine under Postecoglou.
The 19-year-old is now in line to play against Vissel Kobe in Tokyo this weekend before facing the K League All Stars in Seoul next Wednesday and Bayern Munich on August 3rd.
That means Lankshear will be out in Asia for the best part of two weeks and surely won’t be on the move any time soon.
If Wrexham wanted a new striker on board before the season starts, then Lankshear may not be the man.
Wrexham may well feel that Lankshear is worth the wait and are more than happy to sit back until he returns to England.
Lankshear’s inclusion certainly complicates matters though and it may tempt Wrexham to look elsewhere ahead of the new League One campaign.
