Wrexham are still in the market to make some signings in the January transfer window. Here is a round-up of the latest rumours…
It has been a quiet month for Wrexham so far with them yet to make a new signing in the January transfer window.
There have been plenty of injuries and suspensions for Phil Parkinson to contend with which may have pointed towards new signings.
Although that may have been the case, there have been no new incomings to discuss. There has been one outgoing as Billy Waters joined Doncaster on loan this week.
This is about as active as the Reds have been in the window so far but with a week to go things might heat up. Let’s take a look at the recent movements in the window via a transfer round-up…
Wrexham transfer round-up
Luke McNicholas made permanent

This week has seen Luke McNicholas sign a deal to sign on a permanent transfer. He has signed a contract with Wrexham to stay until 2026.
Since arriving at the Club, he has played three times for the Reds and has played third choice to Arthur Okonkwo and Mark Howard.
Following his signing he has shown to the official Wrexham website how happy he is to be signing permanently.
On that, he said: “I’m absolutely delighted. Since I’ve come over, I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s been a great group to come into, they’ve been really welcoming, and I’m really pleased to finally make my deal here a permanent one.
“I’m going to keep pushing in training, and to continue learning from the goalkeepers at the Club to hopefully get my chance and the number one spot at some point in the future.”
Hopefully, with Okonkwo leaving at the end of the campaign McNicholas can step up in the future to perform.
Stephen Humphrys bid lodged

It had been reported this week that Wrexham have made a bid for Wigan Athletic striker Stephen Humphrys. This was as they looked to add some additional firepower to their forward line.
A deal looks like it may be possible as Humphrys is in the final six months of his contract at Wigan so could be lured away.
This season he has scored seven goals and assisted three in League One, according to FotMob. If he can manage to replicate this form in League Two he could prove to be a great asset for the Reds.
Humphrys is a versatile option across the front line. This could see him be a very useful player alongside Paul Mullin upfront. He appears to be the preferred option for Wrexham this month.
Macaulay Langstaff linked

Macaulay Langstaff was an annoyance for the Reds last season. His record-breaking campaign last season, according to FotMob, saw him score 42 goals in just 48 games.
Langstaff has taken to life in League Two like a duck to water. This campaign, so far, he has already netted 20 goals and provided five assists in just 27 appearances.
It is said that a bid in the region of £1.5m could be enough to test the resolve of Notts County this month.
The prospect of having Langstaff and Mullin lining up alongside each other is something certain to send shivers down opposition players’ spines.
