Birmingham City manager Chris Davies has shared an injury update on one of his key players ahead of the Wrexham tie.
Wrexham and Birmingham City clash in the ‘Hollywood Derby’ on Friday evening.
Tom Brady won’t attend the match, as he has commitments elsewhere in the United States this week.
But fans can still expect Sky Sports and other channels covering the game to give a lot of attention to the club’s owners.
While the battle between Ryan Reynolds, Rob Mac and Brady can provide entertainment on social media, supporters of both teams will be more interested in picking up a positive result over their new rivals.
On that front, Birmingham have been handed a boost going into the fixture.

Jay Stansfield injury update before Wrexham
Jay Stansfield became the League One record signing when he joined the Blues last term.
He played a crucial role in them winning a record 111 points in 2024/25 and has three Championship goals to his name so far this season.
There were doubts over Stansfield’s fitness going into the Wrexham match.
But manager Chris Davies has now provided a positive update on his ‘dangerous’ attacker, and it’s good news for Birmingham.
He said, as per Birmingham Live: “He’s got strapping on it (his ankle). A lot of them wear strapping on it, ones that have had previous ankle injuries. From my understanding he’s fine.
“He occasionally gets a kick on that one or the other one, but on this particular occasion I think he felt it would be better to come off and the physios checked him over.
“You can see from the way he scored, he’s still so dangerous and plays with so much energy. The ankle is fine from what I’ve heard.”

Max Cleworth dominated Jay Stansfield
The last meeting between Wrexham and Birmingham was a 1-1 draw at the Racecourse Ground in February.
That fixture saw Phil Parkinson praising Max Cleworth for how he handled Stansfield on the day.
Parkinson stated: “We were up against some good players tonight but I think Max Cleworth, up against Jay Stansfield, everyone’s talking about Jay Stansfield and what a good player he is, and he is a good player, but people might be talking about young Max tonight,” said Parkinson.
“The way he handled him, I thought he was superb, an absolutely superb performance. He showed what great athleticism he’s got, how calm he is in one-v-one situations defensively… I don’t want to talk him up too much because the transfer window is still open, but he was excellent tonight.”
Stansfield played off the left in that game but he has been used in a more central role so far this term, so he may not be going head-to-head with Cleworth this weekend.
