Wrexham picked up another point over the weekend, drawing 0-0 at home against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
Moving on from the midweek nightmare against Peterborough United was the focus for Wrexham.
Wrexham were beaten by Peterborough in the EFL Trophy semi-finals, collapsing from 2-0 down to lose on penalties.
The League One promotion race is the one clear focus for Wrexham though and Saturday provided a fine chance to get back on track.
Wrexham could only draw 0-0 with Bolton Wanderers though with neither side able to make the breakthrough in front of goal.
Steve Parkin was happy with Wrexham’s improvement in terms of pressing opponents but the killer goal just wouldn’t arrive.

Steven Schumacher on Wrexham missed chance
One glaring chance came Wrexham’s way in the second half.
Bolton couldn’t deal with a ball into the box and defender Tom O’Connor found himself unmarked just six yards out.
O’Connor should have hit the target but contrived to fire the ball over the bar with the goal at his mercy.
That was the big chance for Wrexham and, on another day, O’Connor could have been Wrexham’s match-winner.
Bolton boss Steven Schumacher has offered his reaction to that missed chance, admitting that O’Connor should have scored his opportunity.
Schumacher felt that Bolton defended well but he couldn’t pretend that Wrexham didn’t squander some fine opportunities, so he was just happy to take the point.
“They’ve missed a couple of big chances – we can’t get away from that fact,” said Parkinson.
“The number six, O’Connor, should have scored but we missed a couple of chances as well so it’s one of them – we take it and we move on,” he added.
Steven Schumacher on Wrexham style of play
Bolton defender Will Forrester has commented on Wrexham’s style of play, suggesting that it’s ‘not the most attractive’ brand of football.
Wrexham fans have criticised Phil Parkinson’s style of play recently but Schumacher admitted that his side were forced into a real battle.
Schumacher praised his players for standing up to the fight against Wrexham, praising the way Parkinson’s side press so aggressively.
“It wasn’t the prettiest game of football we’ll ever see,” said Schumacher.
“We didn’t pass the ball probably as well as we’d have liked to. It was a difficult game, Wrexham do that to you – they’re really aggressive with their press, they drag you into a bit of a fight and credit to our players for standing up to that fight and competing and putting their bodies on the line to earn what might be a really good point come the end of the season,” he added.
Wrexham face another tough challenge on Tuesday night, travelling to take on Huddersfield Town away from home.
Parkinson will be looking for another strong defensive showing on the road, but will hope to see a more clinical edge in front of goal as Wrexham look to pile the pressure on Wycombe Wanderers.
