Wrexham return to Championship action this weekend, travelling to East London for a meeting with Millwall.

The Red Dragons go into the tie fresh off the back of a huge win in the Carabao Cup.

Wrexham beat Preston North End 3-2, coming from behind on two occasions to secure a place in the third round.

However, while they are enjoying success in the cup, the Welsh side remain winless in the Championship after three matches.

EFL pundits make Millwall vs Wrexham score prediction

Wrexham lost their opening two league matches against Southampton and West Brom.

Last weekend saw Phil Parkinson’s side blow a two-goal lead against Sheffield Wednesday, settling for their first point of the season.

As for Millwall, they sit eighth in the second tier, having won two and lost one of their opening three matches.

Now, EFL pundits Sam Parkin and Benjamin Bloom have made their predictions for the tie.

Bloom said: “I think Wrexham get something. I’m still going to back them to get a point here.  I’m going to go Millwall 1 Wrexham 1.”

Parkin disagreed, backing a home win: “I think this could be quite drab or certainly quite physical, cancel each other out.

“I think Millwall right now with those two front players, got something about them. I’ll go for another 1-0. I think 1-0 Millwall.”

Millwall vs Wrexham head-to-head record

Wrexham have beaten Millwall a total of nine times throughout their history.

The Lions have won on six occasions, with the remaining 11 matches ending as draws.

Saturday’s fixture will be the first these two sides have played since April 2001.

That clash, which took place in the old Division 2, ended 1-1 with Craig Faulconbridge scoring for the Dragons.
