Wrexham clash with Charlton Athletic on Saturday, and The Wrexham Insider team have offered up their score predictions for the game.
Wrexham take on Charlton Athletic at the Racecourse Ground in a 5:30pm UK time kick-off on April 26.
After beating Blackpool on Monday, the Red Dragons are firmly back in the driver’s seat when it comes to finishing second.
Wrexham will win promotion to the Championship on Saturday if they are able to see off Charlton Athletic and Wycombe Wanderers lose to Leyton Orient.
However, Nathan Jones’ side are in top form of late, most recently hammering the aforementioned Wycombe 4-0.
But Wrexham remain favourites for promotion despite facing a top team in their penultimate game.
The Wrexham Insider team have now offered their predictions for the clash.

Wrexham vs Charlton Athletic score predictions
Jakob Barnes – Wrexham 2-2 Charlton Athletic
Charlton are one of the most in-form teams in League One, and they absolutely dismantled Wycombe on Monday. Wrexham fans will have been buzzing at the time, but that should have been a big warning for what to expect from Nathan Jones’ side.
It’ll be a tempestuous affair at the Racecourse on Saturday, and I really do expect Wrexham to be overwhelmed for large portions of the game. Holding their nerve in defence will be crucial, and they’ll need Dan Scarr to put in another big display. I expect goals from both sides, and the home advantage will be just enough to see Wrexham come out with a point.
Luke Phelps – Wrexham 0-0 Charlton Athletic
I think this game could be about as cagey as they come. Both teams come into this one on the back of huge wins, and both have so much to play for. I expect both will rise to the challenge and almost cancel each other out in the end.
Charlton have a ringer up front in Matty Godden and him against Dan Scarr could be a very good watch. Wrexham have their own hitman in Sam Smith, and he could quickly write himself into Wrexham folklore with a goal here.
But to be honest, I think this one could be goalless. 0-0.
Olly Dawes – Wrexham 2-2 Charlton Athletic
Wrexham are now in the box seat for promotion, but must avoid the same fate as Wycombe Wanderers last weekend.
The Chairboys looked to be favourites to go up in second place, but their 4-0 hammering against Charlton shows the kind of test awaiting Phil Parkinson.
I can’t see a 4-0 defeat, but this will be a difficult encounter against a red-hot Addicks side, so I will back a 2-2 draw at the STōK Cae Ras.
George Light – Wrexham 2-1 Charlton Athletic
I can’t see this game ending in a draw, given the need for both sides to claim the three points.
I think initially there will be a cagey start from both teams before the game explodes into life, and I can see Sam Smith benefitting from gaps opening up on the counter-attack as Charlton push for a winner.
Don’t rule out an impact from Steven Fletcher from the bench either, as he loves a goal in important moments.
