Wrexham could be promoted to the Championship as early as Saturday evening, depending on how their meeting with Charlton Athletic goes.
180 minutes of football is now all that stands between Wrexham and what would be a historic season.
The Red Dragons are so close to becoming the first side ever to win three promotions in a row after starting in the fifth tier of English football or above.
It seemed to have all gone a bit wrong last week when they drew 1-1 with Bristol Rovers, and Wrexham were predicted to finish third in League One.
This came after Wycombe Wanderers beat Bolton Wanderers in their Good Friday meeting to reclaim second place.
How much a few days can make a difference, though, with Wycombe’s loss to Charlton Athletic turning the tables once more.

Wrexham League One promotion chances before Charlton Athletic
It’s now in the Welsh outfit’s hands, with Humphrey Ker sending a message to Wrexham fans ahead of their next meeting.
Phil Parkinson’s side will play host to Charlton in a 5:30pm kick-off on Saturday afternoon.
Wrexham could win promotion that day, if they are able to see off Nathan Jones’ side and Wycombe fail to beat Leyton Orient.
As a result, it’s not too surprising to see Opta’s supercomputer now predicting it will be Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds’ club who take second place with a predicted 88.83 points.

Wrexham face new threat in League One promotion battle
While much of the last few months has been spent debating who will go up out of Wrexham and Wycombe, Charlton have been quietly going about their business.
Jones’ men have moved to within just four points of second, a gap that could close to just one if they beat the Red Dragons and the Chairboys lose to Leyton Oreint.
That would set up a very tasty but nervy final day with three teams able to take the final automatic promotion spot.
Anything but a win for Charlton on April 26, however, would end their chances of going up automatically.
