Wrexham team news ahead of Millwall clash

Parkinson was impressed with Ryan Hardie during his side’s Carabao Cup victory over Preston and the striker could replace Nathan Broadhead alongside Kieffer Moore in attack.

There are still a number of long-term absentees including Jay Rodriguez and Ollie Rathbone, but there is hope that Cacace and Thomason are close to a return.

Danny Ward is expected to keep his place in goal despite being under intense scrutiny from the Wrexham fans and having Arthur Okonkwo challenging him for his spot.

The other real dilemma for Parkinson is whether new signing Callum Doyle replaces Lewis Brunt on the left-hand side of defence.
