Wrexham battled back to earn a point against Leicester City as Nathan Broadhead’s goal made it 1-1, helping extend their unbeaten run in domestic competition.
The Red Dragons climbed to 15th in the Championship with the draw as they edged further away from the relegation zone.
Phil Parkinson will be pleased with the point, as it is not easy to travel to the King Power and get a result, with the Wrexham players putting in a fine performance.
While the Welsh side will be happy to return to the Racecourse Ground with a point from the King Power, the Foxes boss was not as pleased with the result, as his side aim to achieve promotion to the Premier League.
Marti Cifuentes believes Leicester City ‘threw away two points’
The Foxes were looking comfortable in the fixture with the Red Dragons and will be disappointed in the manner of how they conceded the equaliser as Lewis O’Brien chased down what many would have thought was a lost cause to set up Nathan Broadhead.
Leicester may be concerned that they only managed one shot on target the whole game at home, as Wrexham looked comfortable at the back against the hosts, and Marti Cifuentes has made his thoughts clear about the result with BBC Radio Leicester.
He said: “I’m really disappointed. We threw away two points today. I think we were arrogant. I think that after a good first half, someone didn’t understand that to win football games, you need to always be at the top level.
“That’s my fault because I told them at half-time that 1-0 wouldn’t be enough, and we needed to push, and to expect to be dominant for 90 minutes is not a reality.
“The last 10, 15 minutes were far from good, and we really need to look at ourselves. We can be better than we were in the second-half.”

Phil Parkinson always had faith in his Wrexham side to get a result
Confidence has grown in the Wrexham team since their away win at Norwich City, leading to Phil Parkinson sending a defiant message, one which has seemingly had the desired effect.
The Red Dragons boss spoke with BBC Radio Wales about just how much trust he has in his squad.
He said: “I’m very proud of the performance. In the first half we had some good chances – and they did as well with balls flashing across the six-yard box.

“They did us with a one-two, and those moments can be key, but we told them at half-time our structure would give us more chances, and defensively I thought we were brilliant.
“We looked so strong doubling up on wide players, which we knew we would have to do with the real talent they have in the team.
“People did their jobs for the whole team, and if we do that, we have quality – and we really showed that at times in the second period.
“I felt we had the quality to make something happen, and we did.”
