Wrexham will look to reach round three of the FA Cup this weekend as they welcome Yeovil Town to The Racecourse. Here is our predicted XI…
It has been an up-and-down few weeks for Wrexham with a win, a draw and a loss in their last three fixtures in League Two.
With that being said, the season as a whole has been great for Phil Parkinson’s side with the Reds currently sitting in second.
Their next two games provide a break from the league to focus on the cup competitions. With FA Cup this weekend, followed by the EFL Trophy in the week.

For now, let’s focus on the oldest club competition in the world. With Yeovil travelling to The Racecourse, let’s take a look at our predicted XI…
Wrexham predicted XI vs Yeovil Town
Last time out, Arthur Okonkwo was forced off due to injury and as a result, is set to miss out in this week’s cup tie. Mark Howard came on to replace the Arsenal loanee and it is between him and Luke McNicholas. Given his experience and the fact he played against Harrogate, we have added Howard to our predicted XI.
The back five has been a consistent force for the Reds so far this season. It is unclear whether or not Parkinson will bring plenty of changes to this one. James McClean and Jacob Mendy should start in the wingback’s roles given their form in recent weeks. William Boyle may come into one of the three centre-back roles. Otherwise, it will be Aaron Hayden, Ben Tozer and Tom O’Connor.
Elliot Lee and Andy Cannon performed very well last time out and were both substituted prior to full-time. George Evans has formed the midfield trio which has been very successful this campaign. In our predicted XI, we suggest this will stay the same.
As always, Paul Mullin will start in this one, such has been his form in recent weeks. His strike partner is always a tough one to guess but we have opted for Sam Dalby ahead of Ollie Palmer this time around.
This team has been hard to create a predicted XI as it is unclear how much rotation will be used. Stars like Jordan Davies and James Jones may find a role against Town, but the Reds could also opt for an unchanged lineup. Who knows?
Predicted XI: Howard, Mendy, Hayden, Tozer, O’Connor, McClean, Cannon, Evans, Lee, Mullin, Dalby
