Wrexham slumped to defeat on Tuesday night, losing 3-2 to Stevenage in a first home loss of the season for Phil Parkinson.
Wrexham have been so reliable at home this season, a far cry from the struggles away from home.
Phil Parkinson has been able to hang his hat on strong home results but his unbeaten record this season has now gone.
Stevenage visited the STōK Cae Ras on Tuesday night and were 2-0 up inside 20 minutes.
Wrexham were dreadful in the first half but at least made of a fight of the game after half time, losing 3-2 in the end.
Parkinson has questioned his side’s confidence with Wrexham ultimately serving up a toothless performance.

Stevenage ace on Wrexham defence
Stevenage have now done the double over Wrexham this season and nobody can earnestly say that they didn’t deserve Tuesday’s win.
Alex Revell’s side are a real nuisance and they were much the better site in their 3-2 victory.
Captain Carl Piergianni has now commented on Wrexham whilst speaking to Stevenage’s official YouTube channel.
Piergianni noted that Stevenage were playing some ‘unbelievable’ football in the first half.
Piergianni feels that Wrexham have one of the very best defences in the league but were simply torn apart by Stevenage.
Arthur Okonkwo perhaps could have done better for the first two goals from a Wrexham perspective, but Piergianni felt that the Wrexham back line just couldn’t handle the Stevenage attackers and midfielders.
“The first half, it was unbelievable to watch,” said Piergianni.
“It was nice to just stand there at the back and let the boys and go and dominate. The front three, the midfielders, they just all clicked and they’ve been working so hard off the field to try and get things right.
“Credit to them, this is one of the best defences in the league and I thought they tore them apart in the first half and were all outstanding,” he added.
Phil Parkinson may shuffle his back line
Parkinson has hinted at changes against Crawley Town this weekend having been left so disappointed on Tuesday night.
Wrexham just looked a little disjointed at the back on Tuesday night and that may be one area Parkinson looks to switch up.
Eoghan O’Connell had a nightmare at Shrewsbury Town but replacement Dan Scarr hasn’t exactly taken his chance.
Lewis Brunt is returning from injury and he may go straight back in as the left centre back in place of Tom O’Connor.
Wrexham have a strong defensive record but Tuesday’s display may just spark some alterations come Saturday.
