Wrexham are gearing up to face Birmingham City at the STōK Cae Ras on Thursday night as Phil Parkinson chases an important win.
Wrexham are in action for the second Thursday in a row after Sky Sports moved a number of League One fixtures in November.
Last week’s game didn’t go to plan as Wrexham simply didn’t turn up in a frustrating 2-1 defeat.
Wrexham must now hit back with Phil Parkinson’s outstanding home record hopefully coming into play.
Big-spending Birmingham City are the visitors in a huge clash at the top of the League One table.
Wrexham can close the gap to Birmingham to just two points with a win and all eyes will be on the STōK Cae Ras.

Phil Parkinson confirms Wrexham injury return
Wrexham know that this will be a huge challenge having been beaten 3-1 by the Blues earlier in the season.
Parkinson saw his side take the lead on that night but couldn’t hold on at St. Andrew’s.
Wrexham will hope for better this time and have been given an injury boost ahead of the game.
Speaking on Wrexham’s official YouTube channel, Parkinson offered an update on Lewis Brunt’s situation.
The defender hasn’t played since the 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic on December 29.
Brunt has been nursing a calf problem ever since but is now in the mix to face Birmingham.
Parkinson claims that Brunt has been running and training ahead of the game and a decision on his participation will be made closer to kick off.
“Brunty is coming on well so we’re pleased with that,” said Parkinson.
“It looks like we’ve got over that hurdle with his calf and he’s done some of the training today, he’s been running earlier in the week as well, so we’ll assess him closer to the kick off,” he added.
Lewis Brunt will be desperate to beat Birmingham City
Wrexham defender Dan Scarr is a Birmingham City fan and he would no doubt love a chance to shine against the Blues.
Scarr is a former Birmingham man himself but Brunt came up in the Aston Villa academy – and is a boyhood Villa fan.
Brunt admitted his Villa allegiance before facing Birmingham in September and will be desperate to play his part here.
Brunt wasn’t a regular in the Wrexham squad for the visit to Birmingham and wasn’t even on the bench.
The defender has really kicked on since then though and was looking untouchable in the Wrexham starting XI before his injury.
Parkinson will weigh up whether to risk starting Brunt upon his return to fitness, but the defender will be ready to face the Blues if called upon.
