Wrexham fans are itching to see their side back in action following the first international break of the season.
Phil Parkinson’s side entered the lull on a high after securing their first win in the Championship for 43 years with a 2-0 victory at Millwall.
Goals from Kieffer Moore and Lewis O’Brien gave the Red Dragons a much-needed three points and a more positive spin on their start to the campaign.
Three signings on deadline day further added optimism among the Wrexham fanbase and all eyes are now turning to the Racecourse Ground for the visit of Queens Park Rangers.

Three early predictions for Wrexham’s Championship clash with QPR
Max Cleworth dropped for new signing Dominic Hyam
Max Cleworth was superb against Millwall and has settled into life in the second tier with ease as expected for a player with his talent.
However, Parkinson wants his side to become smarter and more secure in their defensive work and Cleworth could make way for new signing Dominic Hyam.
It would be an extremely harsh call from the Wrexham boss and one that would not go down well with supporters given Cleworth’s rise through the academy.
However, Parkinson will feel that Hyam’s experience at the level may give him the edge over Cleworth as the Red Dragons look to climb the league towards the play-off places.
| Dominic Hyam’s Championship record | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Hyam | 210 | 9 | 4 |
Arthur Okonkwo eases Wrexham fears over Danny Ward’s injury absence
Eyebrows were raised when Parkinson chose to go with Danny Ward over Arthur Okonkwo as the number one goalkeeper for the season.
Parkinson’s selection of Ward for the opener at Southampton was met with surprise, before that surprise turned to frustration following a high-profile mistake from Ward in defeat at home to West Brom.
However, Ward has undergone surgery on a dislocated elbow sustained in the victory at Millwall and it is now expected that Okonkwo will regain his place in the side.
Okonkwo was excellent last season with 19 clean sheets on the way to promotion and he will show Parkinson that he should have been the man from the get go to be in the sticks for the Red Dragons.

Kieffer Moore continues Wrexham scoring streak in narrow win
Fresh from scoring a crucial goal for Wales in their recent FIFA World Cup qualifier, Wrexham striker Kieffer Moore is set to start once again up top for Parkinson.
Moore scored four goals in three games before the international break and will be pivotal once again in the upcoming clash with QPR.
Rangers also have four points from their first four fixtures this season, but like to control possession and the tempo of the game.
Wrexham are likely to keep a solid defensive shape before trying to find spaces on the counter attack and Moore’s finishing ability will be the difference once again in a narrow victory for the Red Dragons.
