It was an unwelcome return to the Racecourse Ground for Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac on Saturday.
The North American duo’s last live home match in Wales was the Charlton Athletic fixture on April 26, which they won 3-0 to secure promotion to the Championship.
Since stepping up to the second tier, however, it has been a tough couple of weeks for Wrexham.
They conceded two late goals to lose against Southampton on the opening weekend.
This week, meanwhile, Wrexham were beaten comfortably by West Brom.

West Brom fans’ message to Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac
Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac both made the trip to Wales to watch the clash in person.
Mac showed his support for fans and mocked a former Wrexham player in the build-up to the tie.
And the duo, as expected, were on the receiving end of some harsh chants from the West Brom fans who travelled to the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham pulled a goal back late on via Sam Smith, but the fixture ended 3-2 to Ryan Mason’s side.
After they scored their third goal, Baggies fans knew the game was over and took that moment to chant at the Wrexham owners.
Picked up live on the Sky Sports coverage of the fixture, they could be heard chanting “F— Hollywood,” over and over again.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac won’t worry about Wrexham yet
It’s been a disappointing start to 2025/26 for a team that are accustomed to winning the majority of their fixtures.
However, Southampton were a Premier League side last season and West Brom were a play-off contender in 2024/25.
Should Wrexham lose to Sheffield Wednesday next week, however, there may be some panic given the Owls’ squad has been ravaged by exits this summer, including Josh Windass.
