Wrexham fans watched on as their team clashed with Liam Manning’s Norwich City in gameweek six.

Wrexham went into the match searching for only their second Championship win of the season.

Norwich City, meanwhile, were looking to secure a first home victory across all competitions this term.

Elliot Lee and Ryan Hardie missed the fixture despite travelling with the squad on Saturday.

But Phil Parkinson did give three new Wrexham signings starts vs Norwich City after their moves on September 1.

When all was said and done at Carrow Road, the Red Dragons were able to secure just their second win of the campaign.

Wrexham fans praise Issa Kabore vs Norwich City

Norwich took the lead in the 39th minute via Jack Stacey, somewhat against the run of play.

However, Wrexham were quickly back on level terms after the break thanks to Josh Windass.

It was a well-worked goal that ended with Windass slotting in a brilliant ball from Issa Kabore.

Just eight minutes later, the defender was at it again, this time assisting Ryan Longman for their second goal of the game.

The right-wing-back, who was making his debut after signing on loan from Manchester City on deadline day, has since earned high praise from the Wrexham faithful.

One fan demanded his loan deal be made permanent: “Throw our unlimited funds at Kabore, please.”

A second wrote: “My GOODNESS! Sheath amazing, Kabore absolutely beautiful and no way Windass was missing that!”

“Kabore’s made a world of difference today too. Can’t wait to see both him and Cacace running the wingback spots,” another added.

A fourth Wrexham fan simply tweeted: “Kabore is class!”

A fifth stated: “Kabore has some speed! Made a difference on that goal! Heal up Cacace!!”

Another wrote: “Sheaf and Kabore.. been really good,” with a seventh adding: “53 minutes in and you have to like Kabore. Speed for days and 2 beautiful crosses. I was sure the one to Longman was wrong, but he saw something I didn’t, which is why we both spend our Saturdays the way we do.”

What is Issa Kabore’s transfer value

It’s only been one game, but Wrexham fans are really excited about Kabore.

He will spend the 2025/26 campaign in North Wales before returning to the Etihad Stadium.

Kabore joined Manchester City from Belgian side KV Mechelen in 2020.

However, he has hardly featured for the Sky Blues and instead spent time out on loan at six different clubs.

It remains to be seen if City are open to a permanent sale, but if they are, Transfermarkt value him at €4m (around £3.4m),
