One Wrexham player has been heavily praised for his actions during the Norwich City win.

Against many predictions, Wrexham beat Norwich City on Saturday to secure a much-needed victory.

The Dragons were poor last time out but Phil Parkinson made four changes to his eleven on September 20.

To his credit, they had a very positive impact, as even though they went 1-0 down in the tie, Wrexham always looked like they were in the game.

As expected, several players have since earned praise from fans, pundits, and journalists alike.

Josh Windass stars in Wrexham win over Norwich City

Wrexham fans love Issa Kabore following his first-ever appearance for the club.

The Manchester City loanee shone in the right-wing-back role, providing two assists in the victory.

However, while Kabore was in top form as Wrexham saw off Norwich, Josh Windass was also immense.

The attacking midfielder scored on the opening day of the season but was then injured against West Brom.

He’s been out of action since, but after scoring two excellent goals on Saturday, he’s been lavished in praise.

Richard Sutcliffe called Windass’ second of the day ‘brilliant’: “Brilliant from Windass. Cleworth’s cross clears a scrum of players in the six yard box. Finds Windass on his own. Controls and curls in an exquisite shot. 60 mins”

Meanwhile, Nathan Salt and Rich Fay’s Rob Ryan Red podcast account tweeted: “Windass just makes such a difference to our level of intensity.”
