Wrexham striker, Sam Dalby has opened up about his start to the season following back-to-back starts for just the second time this season.
Sam Dalby signed for Wrexham last summer and has gone on to make 68 appearances in his time with the Reds.
Competing with Paul Mullin, and Ollie Palmer last season, Phil Parkinson also brought in Steven Fletcher over the summer.
With that being said he grabbed his first goal of the season last time out against Mansfield Town and will be hopeful of more.
For just the second time this season, Dalby started against Notts County and subsequently Mansfield, in back-to-back starts.

He can be hopeful of keeping this run of minutes going moving forward if he continues to score goals.
What has Sam Dalby said?
Given him coming back into the starting XI, grabbing a goal and performing well against Notts County he will be hopeful of more.
Speaking with Leader Live, Dalby was understanding of the situation that the Reds squad finds itself in.
Discussing that point, the striker said: “We have got a big squad and there are a lot of very good players.
“It is not a given that you are going to start every game so when your opportunity comes, you have got to take it.”
It is safe to say that in the past two games he has had a positive impact and if he adds more goals, that opportunity is going to continue.
The confidence that this recent spell has given him is clear to see. Discussing Parkinson’s faith, he said: “When you keep your place in the team, it is obviously a big thing.
“To get a start on Saturday and at Notts County, that is what I am here for.”
The form of players like Mullin and Palmer at times has had an effect on Dalby’s limited minutes. With that being said, he isn’t letting it get him down.
Discussing his minutes, he added: “I probably haven’t started as many games as I’d like but I have been coming off the bench and making an impact so I am happy with that.”
A great goal against Mansfield appears to have lit a fire in the belly of the Englishman striker which can only be a good thing.
With Port Vale coming up, Dalby will be hopeful of another start and getting on the scoresheet in consecutive games for the first time this season.
