Wrexham are back in League One action once again on Tuesday night as Barnsley become the latest visitors to the STōK Cae Ras.
Wrexham players will have enjoyed a free weekend with no fixture taking place due to the first-round FA Cup exit at the hands of Harrogate Town.
Phil Parkinson will have been so disappointed with that defeat but will certainly appreciate that his players have been able to recharge their batteries.
Wrexham put so much into beating Exeter City and Lincoln City in back-to-back home wins and the weekend break should help against Barnsley.
The Tykes arrive at the STōK Cae Ras on Tuesday night with Wrexham seeking a third straight home victory.
Barnsley boss Darrell Clarke slammed his players for losing on penalties to Bristol Rovers over the weekend, falling to defeat despite dominating the game.

Darrell Clarke on Phil Parkinson
Barnsley will certainly still be a dangerous proposition on Tuesday night despite that defeat on Saturday.
Former Wrexham man Davis Keillor-Dunn will be in action for Barnsley, who currently sit sixth in the League One table.
Wrexham will have to be on top form to get a result here and continue this remarkable home form so far this season.
Barnsley boss Darrell Clarke has now spoken to BBC Radio Sheffield ahead of facing Wrexham and has moved to praise boss Parkinson.
Clarke admitted his admiration for Parkinson, suggesting that he has done a truly ‘tremendous’ job at Wrexham.
Clarke added that it’s all well and good having finances to buy players, but actually knitting them together and achieving success is another matter.
Parkinson has done that brilliantly at Wrexham and Clarke added that Barnsley are expecting a ‘tough game’ at the STōK Cae Ras.
“I think Phil has done a tremendous job because it’s all good having all the resources and being able to do it, but actually getting teams over the line is a different kettle of fish,” said Clarke.
“They’ve had back-to-back promotions, they’re right up in the mix this season, so we know it’s going to be a tough game,” he added.
Barnsley away form is a major threat to Wrexham
Wrexham may have suffered away from home at times but are top of the table in terms of home results in League One this season.
Nine home games have brought eight wins and one draw, scoring 20 goals and conceding just four whilst gaining 25 points.
That will leave Wrexham fans confident of a home win but Barnsley’s away form is seriously impressive.
Barnsley have won five of their eight away league games this season, which puts them behind only Wycombe Wanderers in terms of points.
Birmingham City also have 16 points on the road this season but have scored more goals than Barnsley.
Wrexham have to take this game seriously with Parkinson looking to deliver their third away defeat of the season.
