Wrexham are back in League One action once again on Tuesday night as Barnsley make the trip to the STōK Cae Ras.
Wrexham were gutted to have been knocked out of the FA Cup in November, losing away at League Two side Harrogate Town.
The flip side of that defeat is that Wrexham were able to have a free weekend with no fixture taking place.
This weekend’s FA Cup results mean that Wrexham’s trip to Reading in January has now been postponed but Phil Parkinson has other things on his mind.
Barnsley head to the STōK Cae Ras on Tuesday night with Wrexham hoping for more midweek success.
Wrexham beat Lincoln City 1-0 at home last Tuesday night and a similar result against Barnsley would hand Wrexham three straight home wins.

Wrexham face another meeting with Davis Keillor-Dunn
Barnsley were beaten in the FA Cup over the weekend, losing on penalties to Bristol Rovers despite having 30 shots on goal.
Boss Darrell Clarke has slammed his Barnsley players ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Wrexham and the Tykes will be looking for a response.
This is far from an easy game for Wrexham with Barnsley currently sitting sixth in the League One table, seven points adrift of Wrexham.
Clarke has some quality League One players at his disposal and he will be ready to unleash Davis Keillor-Dunn against Wrexham.
Keillor-Dunn is no stranger to Wrexham fans having joined the club from Ross County back in January 2020.
The attacking midfielder made just six league appearance for Wrexham before moving on to Oldham, Burton Albion, Mansfield Town and now Barnsley.
Barnsley paid £700,000 to sign Keillor-Dunn over the summer and he has really taken his game up a few levels since leaving Wrexham on a free transfer.
Keillor-Dunn is a key man for Barnsley and is set to start against Wrexham on Tuesday, just as he did for Mansfield last season as he battled Wrexham in the League Two promotion race.

Davis Keillor-Dunn form this season
Keillor-Dunn has now started 13 League One games since signing for Barnsley, and he has chipped in with four goals.
The 27-year-old has been in decent form of late, scoring three times in his last eight League One appearances.
Keillor-Dunn has been playing up front for Barnsley of late and may well be deployed in that advanced role against Wrexham.
That is where Keillor-Dunn played against Bristol Rovers on Saturday but the Barnsley Chronicle suggested that he had a ‘poor game’ in the Tykes attack.
Parkinson must be well aware of Keillor-Dunn’s threat though, and will be desperate for Wrexham to shut him down on the way to another home win.
