Wrexham need a response after defeat to Shrewsbury Town and must look to hit back at home against Birmingham City.
Wrexham fans will have endured a somewhat flat weekend.
The 2-1 defeat at Shrewsbury Town on Thursday night was a major disappointment as Wrexham fell flat on the road again.
Wrexham have struggled away from home this season but not turning up in a big derby game has left fans concerned.
Wycombe Wanderers lost boss Matt Bloomfield but still beat Mansfield Town away from home, meaning they sit three points clear of Wrexham.
Phil Parkinson is hopeful of transfer business being completed and Wrexham may well need some big additions to secure automatic promotion.

Birmingham City boss on Wrexham clash
Wrexham’s next clash is a real challenge though as Birmingham City arrive at the STōK Cae Ras.
The big-spending Blues sit top of the League One table and a mini-rivalry has emerged between Wrexham and Birmingham.
Rob McElhenney exchanged barbs with Tom Brady before the September clash between the two sides as both clubs benefit from high-profile North American investment.
There will be similar hype around Thursday’s clash too with McElhenney and Brady no doubt set to renew their personal rivalry.
Birmingham beat Exeter City 1-0 on Saturday and boss Chris Davies spoke about the upcoming Wrexham clash after the full-time whistle.
Speaking on Birmingham’s official YouTube channel, Davies claimed that he will be paying no attention to any off-field activities ahead of Thursday’s clash.
Davies wants to just focus on Wrexham and how to pick up a result at the STōK Cae Ras, where Parkinson remains unbeaten this season.
“I don’t pay any attention to the other stuff, to be honest with you – I really don’t,” said Davies.
“I just focus on the game and I’ll be focused on Wrexham, analyse this one and learn from it, and then start looking at them; what do we need to do to get a result against Wrexham? That has to be our focus, everything else is not important to us,” he added.

Birmingham City ace on Wrexham noise
Birmingham have lost just twice this season and both came on the road.
The Blues lost at Charlton Athletic and Shrewsbury Town, so Wrexham will be hoping to inflict another away day defeat on Davies and co.
Saturday’s match winner Ethan Laird has also spoken about the Wrexham clash on Birmingham’s official YouTube channel.
Laird noted that there is likely to be ‘a bit more noise’ around facing Wrexham, but believes that facing Birmingham is a challenge for anybody.
“We know that, when everyone plays Birmingham, it’s a big challenge for them and I feel like there might be a bit more noise because it’s Wrexham but we still do the same thing,” said Laird.
Phil Parkinson’s home record at Wrexham is superb and adding another win to that record on Thursday would be a huge boost after that dismal defeat at Shrewsbury.
