Wrexham are back in action at the STōK Cae Ras this weekend as Crawley Town make the long trip up from Sussex.
Wrexham lined up for a huge Championship clash against Birmingham City on Monday night.
David Beckham was in town, Tom Brady stoked a rivalry with Rob McElhenney and all eyes were on St. Andrew’s for a huge clash.
Wrexham started well with Jack Marriott scoring early on but Birmingham roared back and secured a 3-1 victory.
Phil Parkinson was disappointed with Wrexham’s response to Birmingham’s equaliser but another big name is now coming.
Wrexham need to get back to winning ways quickly and all eyes are on Crawley Town ahead of their trip to the STōK Cae Ras.

Scott Lindsey on Wrexham
Wrexham have been so good at home in recent times and Parkinson will be keen to respond immediately.
Crawley are the opponents this weekend, just months after Wrexham hammered them 4-1 at the STōK Cae Ras in League Two.
Scott Lindsey’s side have enjoyed a strong start to the season, winning two of their first five games despite losing a number of key players over the summer.
Crawley would no doubt love to spoil Wrexham’s home run and Lindsay has previewed the game in the local media.
Speaking to The Sussex Express, Lindsey noted that Wrexham have been truly ‘unbelievable’ in recent years.
Lindsey feels that Wrexham are ‘really strong’ but is hoping that his side produce a really aggressive display to try and really go toe-to-toe with Wrexham.
“It’s another tough game,” said Lindsey. “We played Stockport last week, who were second in the division and now we play Wrexham, who are top, so it doesn’t get any easier.
“They’re obviously a good side and have been unbelievable over recent seasons and certainly of late.
“They’re a really strong side, so we know it’s going to be a tough game, but we’re in a good place ourselves we feel we’re playing well, certainly in the last game, and we’ve got a lot of work into the players this week in terms of how we want to attack this game and I feel that the training sessions have gone really well but of course it’s putting it into practice on Saturday.
“I’m hoping that we have a real aggression about us, how we play and I think if we do everything right we’ll be fine,” he added.
Lindsey future under the microscope
Wrexham know that Crawley will be a tough challenge and some of their attacking play last season was a delight to watch.
Lindsey’s work coaching Crawley was a minor miracle and to guide them into League Two was remarkable.
Unsurprisingly though, Lindsey’s work means that he will attract admiring glances from elsewhere.
Milton Keynes Dons have just lost manager Mike Williamson to Carlisle United and some believe that Lindsey will be in contention.
Lindsey told The Sussex Express that he was fully focused on Crawley, but this is potentially a rather unwelcome distraction for Crawley and Lindsey ahead of this weekend’s game.
Wrexham will hope to take advantage of any uncertainty this weekend with Parkinson desperate to get back to winning ways.
