Wrexham’s 2025 summer transfer business has been predicted, with one player ‘guaranteed’ to sign.

After winning promotion to the Championship, Wrexham can sign players for the upcoming season from June 1, when the summer transfer window opens for 10 days.

It will then reopen until June 16, and the Red Dragons will then have until September 1 to make additions to their squad.

Most recently, Wrexham have been linked to Tom Cairney of Fulham, who is currently due to leave the Premier League side on a free transfer.

However, Fulham want Cairney to sign a new contract, hence the reports that he could become the Dragons’ new record signing.

Elsewhere, one EFL pundit has been picking out names he thinks will arrive in Wales over the next few months.

Pundit thinks Wrexham ‘guaranteed’ to sign Kieffer Moore

One area that looks to be a priority for the club this summer is up front, with Wrexham eyeing several strikers already.

Kieffer Moore is currently on the books of Sheffield United after joining the Blades from Bournemouth in July 2024.

Moore is under contract until 2027, but one EFL pundit thinks that the centre-forward will be signing for Wrexham this summer.

Speaking on the Second Tier podcast, Ryan Dilks picked out an eleven of players the Red Dragons could be targeting.

The aforementioned Cairney was on that list, while Moore is, in the opinion of Dilks ‘guaranteed’ to join the North American-backed side.

He said: “I think Kieffer Moore just seems like the most obvious signing of the entire summer. He’s not actually out of contract this coming summer. But that just makes a lot of sense for me. So that’s the one out of all these players I think is guaranteed to be happening.

“Not saying any of these are essentially good signings, as I’ve been saying for the past few minutes, I think Wrexham should be going for a completely different tactic, but all of these players just scream Wrexham energy for me.”

Kieffer Moore stats in Championship

Moore’s Sheffield United ended the normal Championship season in third place with 90 points.

They have since made it to the play-off final and are set to compete for a place in the Premier League against Sunderland on May 24.

Moore has made 29 appearances for the Blades this term, including two in the play-off semi-final versus Bristol City.

In total, he has scored six goals for Chris Wilder’s men. For context, that is the same number Jack Marriott netted in League One, less than Sam Smith and Steven Fletcher but more than every other Wrexham striker managed in the third tier across 2024/25.
